“My summer internship has been an amazing learning experience; I am so honored to be mentored by such ambitious and knowledgeable people. By attending different seminars and meetings in Washington DC, I gained confidence and also improved my communication skills. Since, I am a health administration and public policy major, this internship expanded my knowledge about different health policies across the world and also directed me in the right direction.”

What are the benefits of choosing to spend your summer participating in an internship, co-op, service-learning or research experience?
Spending my summer as an intern has been so beneficial to me. I learned about health policies internationally and also learned a lot about myself. This internship has taught me communication skills and how to present myself. I have also gained a lot of confidence by attending meetings and seminars on my own. Also, by attending meetings I have made very important contacts which are going to help me in the future. Also, this internship has given me an insight of what I want to do with my major and what I am interested in after college.
