Title: Marketing Intern (both locations)

Position Description:

Urbanite Baltimore: I am part of the marketing team for Urbanite Magazine, a Baltimore based magazine about arts, culture, food, news, sustainability and anything else you could think of. I am currently working on a presentation analyzing their use of social media with the launch of their new e-zine campaign and website. Light Industries: I work at a marketing intern for Light Industries Technology Solutions. I am currently working on surveying customers from a recent merger in efforts to better understand our communications and possible future with them.

What are the benefits of participating in an internship, co-op, service-learning or research experience?

I am a hands-on person. I learn best from performing a duty or working. Being able to participate in these internships gives me an opportunity to try something new, get out of my comfort zone, and explore possible careers. These companies want me to get as much out of the internship as I can while helping them reach their goals as well. I’m making great contacts and boosting up my resume. It’s a win-win.
