Experience… the difference in recruiting at UMBC
Post your intern, co-op, research position today
Each year, The Shriver Center places over 1,500 UMBC students in internship, cooperative education, and research experiences in nearly 500 public and private organizations in the Baltimore/Washington area and abroad. These professional practice programs are a major resource for employers in the region and an excellent training ground for students. By combining classroom study with on-the-job experience, students earn academic credit, grasp the link between theory and practice, and learn valuable job-related habits and skills. Shriver Center co-op, internship, and research students consistently earn exemplary reviews from host organizations, often followed by an offer of full-time employment when they graduate.
